Full Itinerary
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival
Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, you will be collected by our local guide, who will take you to your hotel for check-in and recover from the flight, you will have free time to explore the city as you wish. You can relax with your first cup of Vietnamese coffee as you take in the pace of life here, or visit some of its famous attractions like the Independence Palace, War Remnants Museum, Saigon Central Post Office or Notre Dame Cathedral.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Mui Ne
After breakfast at the hotel, get ready for the 4-hour drive to stunning Mui Ne across about 200km of rubber plantations as well as a partial desert is strewn with beautiful cactus and dragon fruit trees.
On arrival, feel free to spend the entirety of your day relaxing on the sandy beach or enjoying the swimming pool at your resort. Mui Ne has some of the best and most consistent weather in Vietnam, so relaxing on the sun loungers with a golden tan could be a great idea. Besides, you can sign up for a quick kitesurfing lesson in the capital of this high-octane sport in Southeast Asia.
Day 3: Mui Ne at Leisure
This entire free day is dedicated to your enjoyment and relaxation, so start with a tranquil lazing on the beach or at your resort. You can also engage in a hands-on approach to Vietnamese culture and cuisine with a cooking class showing you the steps to make some of Vietnam’s most beloved foods.
In the afternoon, you may join a half-day Jeep sunset tour, an unmissable experience in South Vietnam to visit three of Mui Ne’s most impressive attractions including the Fairy Stream with a soft-flowing stream flanked by cemented sand for walking; the fishing village at Mui Ne Bay with full of colorful boats and seafood; and a drive across the White and Red Sand Dunes in the Jeep, passing the Lotus Lake and beholding the magnificent sunset.
Day 4: Mui Ne – Nha Trang
After breakfast, you will be collected to transfer to Nha Trang. Soak in the reclined atmosphere of coastal southern Vietnam as passing a multitude of bays and the National Park en route to Nha Trang. On arrival, discover the beauty of Nha Trang with some free time in one of Vietnam’s top coastal destinations. Continue your relaxation on this laidback holiday with a trip to Nha Trang beach covering the vast majority of the east side of the city and looks out across the East Vietnam Sea to some of its mountainous islands.
Unless relaxation takes your fancy, then engage in any of the myriad water activities that take place on the beach from parasailing to jet skiing and water skiing. Real adventure seekers can try flyboarding, a new adrenaline activity where water jet boots will propel you above the water under careful guidance.
Day 5: Nha Trang at Leisure
One of the best travel taking place in Nha Trang involves island-hopping around some of outlying islands that stand in the East Vietnam Sea. Start with a visit to Mieu Island for touring a very unique aquarium, Mun Island for scuba diving or snorkeling and Mot Island to visit a fish farm. Along with pristine coastal scenery, Nha Trang is also well-known for its natural mud baths full of minerals to cleanse and detoxify the body. Mineral hot springs also abound throughout the city and places like Thap Ba can offer both sorts of naturally occurring spa treatments.
Day 6: Nha Trang – Flight to Danang – Hoi An
Today, transfer to Cam Ranh International Airport for a domestic flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival in Da Nang, you will be collected and transferred you down to the picturesque town of Hoi An. Enjoy the rest of the day as your free time to explore the vibrant and ancient UNESCO World Heritage Site by walking along its lantern-framed streets and sitting down for a Vietnamese coffee with a constant view of the serenity at hand.
Day 7: Hoi An Rural Discovery
After breakfast, begin your rural half-day tour with pick-up from your hotel. Then climb onto a bike to start a tranquil cycle through Hoi An and along its village paths to the welcoming attitudes of the locals and experience examples of peaceful farming life.
Arrive at Bay Mau, a resplendent water coconut forest comprising lush nipa palm, mangrove and stretching coconut trees flanking the sides of green canals. Cycle past some of Central Vietnam’s most luxuriant scenery as visiting a local fishing village called Van Lang to discover an ancient way of life still very much in operation.
On the way to another local village, stop at Ba Le market to discover the daily activity of locals as they prepare to cook their families’ meals. Past abundant rice fields, quaint cemeteries, and humble schools reach a local house whose host will welcome you to his ancient family home with a smile and some green tea and explore the village before jumping into a basket boat and enjoying a demonstration of skillful steering work by the experienced locals. Later, enjoy a therapeutic footbath comprised of medicinal herbs that will soothe your feet.
After a delicious local lunch, return via bicycle to Hoi An for a free afternoon in the gorgeous town. Head to either of Hoi An’s principal beaches, Cua Dai and An Bang, for total relaxation amidst white sand, palm trees, and a deep blue ocean.
Day 8: Hoi An – My Son Sanctuary
Today, spend a walk around Hoi An ancient town which is a quintessential experience in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can choose to visit the 21 available communal houses, personal residences, temples, assembly halls and museums in this town.
If you are searching for more ancient history, consider taking a half-day tour of My Son Sanctuary another of Vietnam’s UNESCO-recognized sites where you will find a complex of ancient Hindu temple ruins belonging to the once-powerful Cham Kingdom, built between the 4th and 13th centuries.
For your last chance to enjoy the beach this holiday, you can try out the secluded white-sand beauties of the Cham Islands, about 20km off the coast of Hoi An. you will be treated to swimming, snorkeling around coral reefs, a fishing village visit and, ultimately, relaxation on the islands’ heavenly beaches.
Day 9: Hoi An – Danang Departure
Savor your final breakfast at the hotel and wait for our driver to collect you and drop you off at Da Nang International Airport for your onward flight. Trip ends.
Note: You can transfer to Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi if your flight requires.
